MORGAN HILL -- The Find Sierra LaMar Search Center has been moved from Burnett Elementary School to Central High School, about two miles away.

The KlaasKids Foundation announced the move on Thursday in a news release. The new location will be at 17960 Monterey Road.

"This change of venue will allow us to refocus on finding my daughter and bringing this nightmare to an end," Steve LaMar said in the release.

Sierra, 15, disappeared while walking to catch a school bus in Morgan Hill on March 16, 2012.

Antolin Garcia Torres, 22, is in custody and faces murder charges in the case. He appeared in court last month but again failed to enter a plea, and the hearing was continued to June 27.

More than 1,100 search assignments have covered more than 1,500 square miles since LaMar's disappearance, according to KlaasKids. New volunteers are always encouraged, and anyone interested can call 408-612-6628.

Volunteers must be 18 years old with ID.
