California District 4
South Oakland Orioles 12, Alameda A's 2: The South Oakland Orioles took the title in the District 4 TOC Championship game by a score of 12-2. Oakland jumped out to an early lead and never looked back thanks to stellar, errorless defense and the dominate pitching of Ryland Henke. Henke threw only 51 pitches in a three-hit, six-inning complete game. The Orioles offense was led by Henry Quintella, who had five hits, and Clay Henderson who drove in four runs with a double and a triple. Emmet Tuttle, Tony Todd and Adam Hetherwick also added extra base hits. Alameda got a home run from Nate Low but could not mount a sustained offense.
