RICHMOND -- A Northern California man stabbed to death during a dispute at a homeless shelter was identified by authorities Tuesday as 47-year-old Larry Kittleson.

Police said the stabbing happened after an argument between Kittleson and another man erupted inside the shelter in the 800 block of Brookside Drive. Kittleson, a resident of Anderson in Shasta County, died Sunday at a hospital.

San Pablo resident Jeberiah Moore, 37, was arrested a short time after the stabbing and is expected to charged with murder, police said. He remained in County Jail in Martinez on Tuesday in lieu of $1 million bail.
