PLEASANTON -- Four men suspected of targeting a Pleasanton man for his casino winnings in an August home invasion robbery have been arrested in separate SWAT team operations in Oakland, Hercules and Antioch, police said.

Over the course of the monthslong investigation, Pleasanton police detectives worked closely with the California Department of Justice Bureau of Gambling Control and identified four men suspected in the Aug. 26 robbery. The men followed a man home from an area casino and robbed him of his winnings, Lt. Jeff Bretzing said.

The victim told police he took a cab to his Roselma Place home after winning a large sum of money at a local casino, then fell asleep next to the cash in a downstairs bedroom, authorities said. The man's wife returned home a short time later and was ambushed by a group of armed men as she was trying to close her garage door.

According to Bretzing, the men forced the woman inside the home and demanded "the money" from the fearful couple, who handed over the case out of fear for their safety.

Jakari Bolden, 24, and Terrell Bailey, 25, both of Oakland, and Thomas Stokes, 30, of Hercules, were arrested on robbery charges Oct. 24 after three SWAT operations in Oakland and one in Hercules. The fourth and final suspect, 20-year-old Myrick Rucker, was arrested Nov. 6 after a SWAT team descended on his Antioch home in the 5300 block of Rockrose Way.

All four men remain in custody at Santa Rita Jail in lieu of $400,000 bail, according to court records.
