HAYWARD -- The city is hosting a job fair Jan. 11.

Those attending will be able to learn about job requirements for city positions such as laborer, administrative clerk, police officer trainee and firefighter trainee. In addition, information will be available about other city jobs that are being filled.

A demonstration is planned on how to apply for city jobs online and how to create an online profile in order to be notified about future job openings. Hayward staff members will be on hand to review resumes and discuss various city jobs.

Snacks will be provided, and those attending may enter a gift card drawing.

The job fair is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 11 at Hayward City Hall, 777 B St.
