SAN FRANCISCO -- Two people were wounded when gunfire broke out in the Tenderlon on Sunday night.

Police responded to reports of a shooting near Turk and Market streets at about 9:10 p.m. and found two people suffering non life-threatening gunshot wounds, according to Officer Gordon Shyy.

One victim was shot in the arm and the other was shot in the leg, but Shyy could not say whether the victims were male or female. Police arrested a suspect and recovered a gun nearby, at the 900 block of Market Street, he said.

Both victims were transported to San Francisco General Hospital and are expected to survive, Shyy said.
