SAN LEANDRO--Two people were arrested Sunday after leading officers on a chase all the way into San Francisco, according to San Leandro police.

The chase began Sunday morning around 2 a.m. when police spotted a stolen Honda Accord driving in the 1700 block of 141st Avenue in San Leandro. The driver fled onto Interstate 580, but not before dropping off a passenger at a nearby highway onramp.

The pursuit continued into San Francisco where the driver, later identified as Marsha Primer, 37, of Fairfield, was arrested on suspicion of felony evading and possession of a stolen vehicle. The passenger of the vehicle, Errol Stewart, 43, of Hayward, was charged with possession of methamphetamine.
