CONCORD -- A BART train reportedly derailed as it was heading into the train yard near the North Concord station Thursday, police said.
No injuries were reported, and it is unknown what caused the derailment that happened around 5 p.m. Service was not disrupted and BART officers were not called to respond, according to BART police.
A BART spokesperson was not immediately available for comment.
This is the second time a BART train has derailed in the last two months. On Feb. 21, a train at the Concord station derailed as it was also heading to a yard, leaving cars strewn across two sets of tracks and the train's lead car hanging off the edge of the elevated rails.
