PLEASANT HILL -- Two men suspected of robbing an electronics store Saturday night remained at large Monday, police said.
The two suspects entered a Verizon Wireless store in the 600 block of Contra Costa Boulevard at 5:23 p.m. and confronted the clerk with a handgun, Pleasant Hill police Sgt. Scott Vermillion said. The employee followed their demands, and the two men left with an undisclosed amount of cash, Vermillion said.
After the robbery, the two men fled on foot. A gold-colored sedan seen in the area during the robbery may have been associated with the suspects, Vermillion said.
Both men were in their mid- to late 20s with average builds, Vermillion said. One of them was 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and the other was 5 feet, 10 inches, police said.
