MARTINEZ -- The death of a 47-year-old Richmond man who fell from a sixth-story window onto a fourth-floor balcony last year will be reviewed during an inquest by the Contra Costa County Corner next month.

The death of Link Pernard Muldrow on Oct. 21 will be reviewed during the inquest at 9 a.m. July 14, at the A.F. Bray Courthouse, Contra Sheriff's Office spokesman Jimmy Lee said.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the Nevin Plaza Housing Project at 2400 Nevin Avenue and at some point, Muldrow fell to his death, Richmond police Sgt. Nicole Abetkov said.

Police were unable to make contact with Muldrow before he fell, Abetkov said.

The inquest is the standard protocol after any death in which officers are present. Facts will be presented to a jury, and the jury will determine whether Muldrow died by accident, suicide or at the hands of another person.
