OAKLAND -- A man was shot and wounded Thursday evening in East Oakland, police said.
The shooting was reported about 5:49 p.m. near the intersection of 100th Avenue and International Boulevard, police said. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was in surgery Thursday evening.
Police were investigating and did not immediately have any information on a motive or suspects. Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $5,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
