PLEASANTON -- PG&E is still investigating the cause of a power outage in Pleasanton on Sunday afternoon after utility customers reported a loud noise and then the power went out.
No injuries were reported.
About 1,600 people lost power about 4 p.m. on Muirwood and Forest Hill drives and Cottonwood Lane and other nearby areas around the Muirwood Community Park west of Interstate 680, said PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi.
Power for all customers restored at 5:38 p.m., according to PG&E.
