HAYWARD - Three people were arrested during a crime suppression operation in Hayward on Wednesday, police said.

The operation took place from noon through 10 p.m. in areas of the city frequented by crimes, according to police.

Throughout the day four teams conducted 12 probation searches and 26 alcoholic beverage compliance checks, police said.

Police also issued 12 vehicle, pedestrian and administrative citations.

The operation resulted in two felony arrests and a misdemeanor arrest.
