The following are excerpts from the Walnut Creek Police Department log:

Thursday, Dec. 6

AUTO THEFT -- A gray 1991 Toyota Camry was reported stolen overnight from the 100 block of Near Court.

BURGLARY -- Items were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight in the 700 block of Spring Drive.

BURGLARY -- A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle broken into between 9:15 and 10:30 a.m. in the 1200 block of South Main Street.

Friday, Dec. 7

VANDALISM -- The tires of a vehicle were reported slashed overnight in the 1800 block of North Main Street.

Saturday, Dec. 8

BURGLARY -- Golf clubs and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle broken into in the 1100 block of Walker Avenue.

Sunday, Dec. 9

AUTO THEFT -- A tan 1998 Infiniti I35 was reported stolen overnight from the 1500 block of Sunnyvale Avenue.

BURGLARY -- A purse and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle broken into between 11 a.m. and noon in the 1600 block of Ygnacio Valley Road.

AUTO THEFT -- A red Acura Integra was reported stolen overnight in the 1400 block of Creekside Drive.

Monday, Dec. 10

VANDALISM -- The windows of a vehicle the 2800 block of Dapplegray Lane were reported broken out overnight.

BURGLARY -- An MP3 player and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle broken into overnight in the 1400 block of Pico Court.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

BURGLARY -- Jewelry and other items were reported stolen from a business in the 1300 block of Broadway Plaza that was broken into.

BURGLARY -- More than $1,000 worth of golf clubs were reported stolen from a vehicle broken into around 4 p.m. in the 100 block of Sharene Lane.

BURGLARY -- Jewelry and other items were reported stolen from a residence in the 2000 block of Belford Drive that was broken into.

BURGLARY -- A backpack and other items were reported stolen from a vehicle broken into between 4 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Palos Verdes Mall.

AUTO THEFT -- A black Harley Davidson superglide was reported stolen overnight from the 1500 block of Giammona Drive.

Wednesday, Dec. 12

AUTO THEFT -- A 1993 Nissan Pathfinder was reported stolen from the 200 block of Park Lake Circle.

BURGLARY -- Jewelry and other items were reported stolen from a residence in the 1500 block of Sunny Court that was broken into.

AUTO THEFT -- A black 1996 Honda Accord was reported stolen between 2 and 6 p.m. in the 1600 block of Olympic Boulevard.

AUTO THEFT -- A 1995 blue Honda Civic was reported stolen overnight at Alpine Road and Botelho Drive.
