SAN JOSE -- The Rite Aid Wellness Store will offer free health screenings on Saturday for customers at the newly remodeled store in Westpark Plaza.

From noon to 4 p.m., the store will offer at no charge cholesterol testing, blood glucose level testing, blood pressure readings, memory impairment screenings and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease testing.

The free exams are part of the store's re-opening celebration following a seven-week remodeling to expand its health and wellness offerings, including clinical services such as immunizations, iPads for customers to access information on medications and supplements, and a private patient room for pharmacist consultations. The store is at 1333 S. Winchester Blvd.
