De La Salle High defensive end Victor Egu has orally committed to Cal, Scout.com reported.
Egu -- who has a three-star rating by Scout -- had several scholarship offers and interest from most Pac-12 schools, and took an official visit to Oregon in early October. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound senior returned to action early last month after he missed time in September with a concussion. He is expected to play linebacker for the Golden Bears.
In seven games this season, Egu has 24 tackles, four sacks -- including two last week against California -- and one fumble recovery.
Egu is the second member of De La Salle's defense to commit to a Pac-12 school. Linebacker Michael Hutchings committed to USC in July.
