Stanford's Chiney Ogwumike was named Pac-12 player of the year while the Cardinal's Tara VanDerveer was coach of the year according to a coaches' vote announced Tuesday.

Ogwumike, who also was player of the year in Monday's media poll, joined teammates Joslyn Tinkle and Amber Orrange on the 15-member all-league team. The junior forward became the first player in history to win player of the year and defensive player of the year in the same season.

VanDerveer, 59, helped lead the fourth-ranked Cardinal to a share of its 13th consecutive conference title. She received the award for the third consecutive year and 13th time in 27 years at Stanford. Cal's Lindsay Gottlieb was the media's choice for coach of the year honors.

The Bears' Brittany Boyd, Gennifer Brandon and Layshia Clarendon were all-league selections while Eliza Pierre made the all-defensive team with Ogwumike.

Washington sophomore Jazmine Davis of Valley Christian High-San Jose also was named All-Pac-12.
