Nacimiento-Fergusson Road, the only paved road from the Big Sur coast to Highway 101, will be closed to through traffic from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday for unexpected maintenance at the Fort Hunter Liggett gate, the Army said.

Drivers should find an alternate route or expect a long wait, the Army said.
