The programs are suitable for children and adults.
Deep Space: Binocular Astronomy is a program focusing on using binoculars to explore the night sky, according to a statement from the college.
Program participants will use binoculars and with the guidance of an astronomer examine star clusters, galaxies and nebulas. Binoculars will be provided, the statement said.
The program will be presented at 6 and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16.
Tales of the Maya Skies will take participants back in time to hear stories of the ancient Maya civilization and how people were influenced by the planets and astronomical events, the statement said.
The program will be offered at 6 and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17.
General admission tickets are $6 and $4 for students, seniors, and children ages 6 through 13. Children ages 5 and under are admitted for $1.
