MST project halts 1 week
Construction of the Monterey Salinas Transit stop at Lighthouse and Reeside avenues has been halted for a week due to an unexpected problem underground.
Several underground utility lines were found in an area designated for proposed storm drains and the MST project engineer is preparing plans to reroute the drain pipe around the lines, according to city officials. Work will restart once a solution is found.
