Restorative Justice Partners, Inc. has received the following grants: $13,000 from The California Endowment; $20,000 from the Monterey Peninsula Foundation and $1,500 from the Yellow Brick Road Benefit Shop.

The Yellow Brick Road Benefit shop awarded the following grants in October: Monte Vista Elementary School, $860; Jesus Video Project, Marina High School, Seaside High School, Chamber Music Monterey Bay, Monterey Bay Symphony, Monterey Peninsula Choral Society, $500 each; Central Coast HIV-AIDS Services, Girls, Inc. of the Central Coast, Monterey Bay Charter School, Dance Kids Inc. of Monterey County, $1,000 each; Food Bank of Monterey County, $1,200; Franciscan Workers of Junipero Serra, Restorative Justice Partners, Youth Arts Collective, $1,500 each; Rice Plus Project, Salvation Army Monterey Peninsula, Salvation Army Salinas, Shelter Outreach Plus, Hope Services of Monterey County, $2,000 each; Rancho Cielo Youth Campus, $2,500.

"Keys to Nonprofit Board Leadership," a workshop designed for those preparing to join a nonprofit board of directors, will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28 at the Community Foundation for Monterey County, 2354 Garden Road, Monterey.

The cost is $30 before Friday and $40 after.
