An SUV collided with an ambulance Monday evening and then hit two other vehicles in Rolling Hills Estates.
No one was injured in the 6:30 p.m. accident at Crenshaw Boulevard and Palos Verdes Drive North, sheriff's deputies said.
The McCormick ambulance - with lights and siren on - was transporting a patient northbound on Crenshaw when a Honda Pilot heading west on Palos Verdes Drive North struck the emergency vehicle in the intersection, according to Lt. Judy Anderson of the Lomita sheriff's station.
The SUV then flipped, knock over a light pole and landed upright on all four tires. The Honda, however, also hit two other vehicles heading southbound on Crenshaw.
After leaving contact information, the ambulance continued on to Torrance Memorial Medical Center with the patient.
