Arron Henry Robinson, 22, faces a single count of forcible rape, Deputy District Attorney Amy Carter said.
Robinson allegedly picked the woman up at her residence and drove her back to his Hawthorne apartment, where he sexually assaulted her on Nov. 3. He later drove her home and she reported the alleged sexual assault to police the next day.
Robinson was held on $100,000 bail. If convicted, he faces up to eight years in state prison.
