Torrance

1. Residential burglary. 10 p.m. Nov. 10 to 4:45 a.m. Nov. 11, 2800 block of 182nd Street. Entry made into a vehicle with a partially open window in an unlocked garage. The loss included tools, jackets and sunglasses.

2. Residential burglary. 7:55 to 8:01 p.m. Nov. 10, 4100 block of Artesia Boulevard. Someone cut a screen on an open window to enter, but fled upon encountering the victim inside the residence.

3. Residential burglary. 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 9, 100 block of Via Mesa Grande. Unknown means of entry. The location was ransacked. Jewelry, a watch, a laptop computer and a pillowcase were reported stolen.

4. Residential burglary. 8:30 a.m. Nov. 7 to 7:15 a.m. Nov. 8, 1700 block of 234th Street. A window in a door was smashed in an attempt to enter. No entry made; no loss reported.

5. Residential burglary. 6:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 6, 1000 block of Hickory Avenue. Entry through an open window. Jewelry was reported stolen.

6. Residential burglary. 7:30 a.m. to 7:40 p.m. Nov. 5, 4700 block of Deelane Street. Entry through an unlocked door. A surveillance camera was reported stolen.

7. Commercial burglary. 6 p.m. Nov. 9 to 7:30 a.m. Nov. 12, 20600 block of Western Avenue. Unknown method of entry. A computer was reported stolen.

8. Commercial burglary. 4 p.m. Nov. 9 to 6:45 a.m. Nov. 13, 2600 block of Vine Avenue. An attempt was made to pry open a vending machine's cash vault. A door handle was pried off to enter an equipment room. A TV converter box and a box of trash bags were reported stolen.

9. Commercial burglary. 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 5, 3500 block of Carson Street. A hole was cut in a kiosk tarp. A case of watches was reported stolen.

10. Theft. 2:47 p.m. Nov. 10, 19700 block of Hawthorne Boulevard. Police said someone posed as a lottery winner in need of assistance in cashing the winning ticket and persuaded the victim to put up "good faith money," with which they fled.

11. Theft. 12:40 p.m. Nov. 10, 20500 block of Anza Avenue. A bicycle was reported stolen from an unsecured garage.

12. Theft. 1 p.m. Nov. 8, 26000 block of Crest Road. A lock was cut. Batteries were reported stolen from a cable company supply can.

13. Theft. 11:30 to 11:45 a.m. Nov. 8, 3400 block of Sepulveda Boulevard. A forgotten purse was reported stolen.

14. Theft. 6:30 to 6:32 p.m. Nov. 7, 2300 block of Abalone Avenue. A doormat and trash cans were reported stolen from the exterior of the location.

15. Theft. 8 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 7, Carson Street and Arlington Avenue. Saddlebags, gloves, a tool bag and helmets were reported stolen from a motorcycle.

16. Theft. 4:26 to 4:27 p.m. Nov. 6, 2100 block of 237th Street. A delivered parcel was reported stolen from a porch.

17. Theft. 9:35 to 9:38 a.m. Nov. 5, 2100 block of 184th Street. Police said someone posing as an attorney, who claimed that a relative of the victim had been in an accident, persuaded the victim to wire money.

18. Theft. 4:10 to 4:15 p.m. Nov. 4, 24200 block of Crenshaw Boulevard. A wallet was reported stolen from an office in an open business.

19. Theft. 8:35 a.m. Nov. 4, Western Avenue and Western Way. Landscaping equipment was reported stolen from the bed of a truck.

20. Vandalism. 2:42 a.m. Nov. 10, 3600 block of Artesia Boulevard. A residential window was broken.

6:12 a.m. Nov. 8, 4500 block of Halison Street. 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

3 to 5 p.m. Nov. 7, 2200 block of Torrance Boulevard. 1998 Honda Civic.

4:15 to 4:18 a.m. Nov. 6, 18900 block of Doty Avenue. 2006 Ford pickup.

10 to 10:05 a.m. Nov. 4, 3000 block of 182nd Street. 2011 Dodge Avenger.
