Deputies responded at about 10:48 p.m. Tuesday to the condominium shared by Ramirez and his wife in the 8000 block of Tulsa Place in Rancho Cucamonga after neighbors complained about an argument at the house.

Pamela Ramirez, 48, was found suffering from apparent stab wounds, according to a sheriff's news release.

Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Detectives determined that an argument between the married couple had become violent.

The couple were the only people with access to the residence and Robert Ramirez had fled the scene, according to the news release.
