M Monterey County election officials will resume their count of the final ballots from the Nov. 6 election next week.
The latest tally released Wednesday represented about 7,500 more ballots counted, pushing overall turnout in the presidential election above 73 percent.
County Registrar Linda Tulett said there are more uncounted ballots and the next tally will be released Nov. 28.
No races changed with the latest tally. Measure A, a Pacific Grove Unified School District parcel tax, climbed closer to a needed two-thirds majority with 66.26 percent of the votes tallied favoring passage.
Child advocacy organization Voices for Children CASA is needs more volunteers after more than 30 children were referred to the group in the past 60 days.
Volunteers sought who are 21 years old and older.
Pre-training interviews and screening occur Nov. 26 to Nov. 30.

Waste district takes recycled turkey oil
