DIG tackles wreath-making
Dig is bringing back wreath-making workshops in time for the holidays, with 2 p.m. classes slated for Saturday, Nov. 24, and Dec. 8. In these classes, participants will be shown how to create long-lasting wreaths from scratch. Made from traditional pine and fir, wreath-makers will be able to adorn their creations with fresh, locally grown foliage, including evergreens, leucadendrons and berries. The cost is $65 and includes all materials.

Learn to make fruit butters
Love Apple Farms will offer a hands-on workshop on Sunday, Dec. 2, that focuses on creating fruit butters from apples, pears and persimmons, all seasonal stars of the fall and winter in California.
