Each week the Sentinel publishes a list of the Most Wanted criminals in the county as determined by local law enforcement. Agencies participating include the four city police departments, the Sheriff's Office, California Highway Patrol, District Attorney's Office and State Parks. The information is provided by the Sheriff's Office based on active investigations and/or arrest warrants. If you have information on anyone listed below, law enforcement asks you to call 911.
Alejandro Alonzo
Wanted for: Felony theft and gang enhancement
Age: 28
Description: 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, black hair, brown eyes
Residence: Watsonville
Details: Alonzo was convicted of felony theft with a gang enhancement. He has failed to comply with the terms of his probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Oscar Amezcua Cabrera
Wanted for: Murder
Age: 35
Description: 5-foot-9, 140 pounds, black hair and brown eyes
Residence: Unknown
Details: In 2006, Cabrera shot and killed a man in Watsonville, deputies allege. Authorities have been unable to find Cabrera and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Cabrera should be considered armed and dangerous.

Miguel Ramirez
Wanted for: Murder
Age: 35
Description: 5-foot-7, 170 pounds, brown and brown eyes
Residence: Transient
Details: Loza is wanted in the murder of Jessica Sheridan, 19, in 2003. Investigators believe he initially fled to Mexico though there have been several unconfirmed sightings of Loza in the Santa Cruz Area. Loza is considered armed and dangerous.

Amanda Sloan
Wanted for: Felony assault on a peace officer
Age: 30
Description: 5-foot-8, 140 pounds, brown and green eyes
Residence: Soquel
Details: On Nov. 11, a Capitola police officer stopped a BMW driven by Sloan, who refused to cooperate and sped away, police allege. Officers pursued Sloan until she shot at the officer through the sunroof of her vehicle. Officer lost visual of the vehicle and have requested a warrant for her arrest. Sloan has history of violence against peace officers and should be considered armed and dangerous.
