Gun-toting pair rob Wells Fargo
Robbers held up the Wells Fargo Bank, 1903 Natividad Road, at gunpoint early Wednesday and fled in a getaway car, police reported.
Police said two gunmen wearing ski masks entered the bank shortly after 9:10 a.m., demanded money and ran after a teller handed over cash.
The gunmen got into a car, identified by police as a blue Ford Focus, and were driven away west on Arcadia Street.
The car, which was reported stolen, was later found abandoned, police said. Police and county probation officers searched the area for the robbers.
A juvenile sought by probation officers was chased on foot and caught after he jumped over residential fences, police said.
Investigators are trying to determine if he had a role in the robbery.
Man dodges bullets in front of home
A man was shot at as he stood in front of his house in the under-100 block of Oregon Street late Tuesday, police reported.
Police said the victim saw an older model, light-colored Honda Accord drive slowly up the street and stop in front of his house at 7:45 p.m. A man got out of a rear passenger door. The victim, sensing what might happen, took cover, police said, as the gunman opened fire.
The shots missed the man, but one went through the house's front window and hit a wall in a room occupied by the man's wife and 8-year-old son, police said.

Four under arrest in courthouse kerfuffle
Four people were arrested after a disturbance outside the Salinas Courthouse on Wednesday.
The group was taken into custody by police and county district attorney investigators about 2:30 p.m. on suspicion of intimidating a witness, police said.
Car hits pole, knocks down power lines
A car hit a utility pole, knocking down power lines near El Estero on Wednesday.
Firefighters said the accident occurred at 3:30 p.m. at Fremont Street and Camino El Estero. The driver was not injured, firefighters said. Pacific Gas & Electric crews were called and traffic lanes were blocked for about three hours.
Circuit breaker box sparks fire
A shorted-out electrical circuit breaker box outside a house in the 1200 block of Flores Street caused a fire after sparks ignited two large rolls of paper next to it late Wednesday, firefighters reported.
The blaze broke out shortly after 6 p.m., firefighters said.
