LOS ANGELES - A naked man who stomped a car in a downtown Los Angeles intersection Wednesday night was arrested for suspicion of felony vandalism.
The man was arrested around 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of Sixth and Spring streets, said an officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's Central Station.
Phone camera video broadcast by ABC7 showed the man atop a red Mustang that had its windshield smashed.
The man, whose name and age were not made available, was arrested for suspicion of felony vandalism, according to police.
He was taken to County-USC Medical Center for an evaluation, ABC7 reported.
A witness told the station the man emerged from a building's elevator before he went into the street and jumped on the car.
The car's driver punched the man in the face and police arrived soon after and arrested him, the witness told ABC7, which reported that neither the driver nor a female passenger in the Mustang were injured.
