The members of the Pomona Unified School District Board of Education conducted their annual reorganization meeting Tuesday where they selected new officers.

Board members elected Roberta Perlman board president. She will serve in that position for a year.

Board members elected Frank Guzman the board's new vice president. He will also represent the district on the San Antonio Regional Occupational Program Commission.

Board member Jason Rothman will represent the school board at the Los Angeles County School Trustees Association during 2013 in addition to being the board's voting member in electing members to the Los Angeles County Committee on School District Organization.

Perlman was elected to serve on the California School Board Association's Delegates Assembly for a two-year term beginning April 1.

Perlman will represent the school board at Pomona City Council meetings and Board member Adrienne Konigar-Macklin will represent the board at Diamond Bar Council meetings.
