Monterey Peninsula College professor David Clemens has been elected to the Modern Language Association Delegate Assembly as a special-interest delegate for two year colleges.
Kyle Peerless has been named to the dean's list at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and the Frank R. Seaver College of Science & Engineering.
Peerless is a 2011 graduate of Carmel High School.
Dominique Tunzi graduated in May with a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. She is a 2008 graduate of Salinas High School.
Gabriela Tunzi was admitted to the State Bar of California this month.
