HAWTHORNE — Police will conduct a driving under the influence and driver's license checkpoint Friday in Hawthorne.

The checkpoint will run from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Saturday. The location was not disclosed.

Officers will contact drivers passing through the checkpoint for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment, and check that drivers are properly licensed.
