LONG BEACH - Four men were shot, one fatally, in three separate shootings Saturday, police said Sunday.
The fatality occurred during the second shooting, which was reported at 4:30 p.m. in a mobile home park in the 6400 block of Atlantic Avenue. Three men and one woman entered one of the mobile homes, and two occupants were shot. The suspects fled in a vehicle, Long Beach police spokeswoman Nancy Pratt said.
The victims, who have been identified only as Long Beach residents - one 24 years old and the other 28 - also ran from the residence and were found outside by arriving officers. Both victims were shot in the upper torso and taken to a local hospital, but one of them died after arriving, she said.
The identity of the dead man is being withheld until relatives are notified. The other victim's wounds appear to be non-life-threatening, Pratt said.
The motive for the shooting is unknown, said said.
Police have not yet released any suspect information.

The third shooting happened about 8 p.m. in the area of Eighth Street and Chestnut Avenue. The only information police released is a man was approached by a man who pulled out a gun and shot him in the lower body.
The victim drove himself to a nearby hospital and was treated for what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, Pratt said.
Police said the motive for the shooting is unknown.
