Eric Ray Reyna, 20 of Hesperia, and Jesse Anthony Del Rio, a 19-year-old transient, attempted to elude authorities near Main Street and Mountain Vista Avenue after deputies were called to the area about taggers, according to sheriff's spokeswoman, Sue Rose.
After the two were taken into custody, deputies discovered evidence allegedly linking both men to the vandalism of at least 19 different locations between Mariposa Road and Escondido Avenue early Friday morning, she added.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Jodi Miller said the victim requested to remain anonymous.
The two men, Reyna and Del Rio were booked into the Victor Valley Jail and were released on bond Saturday morning according to jail records.
The sheriff's department hasn't released information of how much property damage was done by the two men.
According to California penal code, vandalism becomes a felony when the property damage is over $400.
