Whether you're from the Santa Cruz area or looking to visit, going to a bed and breakfast for the weekend counts as a vacation: You can sleep in, stay up late, day trip to the beach, and enjoy some tasty food. From the mountains down to the shoreline, Santa Cruz County is in no short supply of bed and breakfasts, so you only need to decide where you want to stay -- in the redwoods, near the coast, or closer to the city.
