Fort Ord reuse workshop Friday
The Fort Ord Reuse Authority board will hold a workshop from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday to discuss the authority's post-reassessment policy options, followed by its regular monthly meeting at 3:30 p.m., at Carpenter's Union Hall, 910 2nd Ave.
During its regular meeting the board will consider an amendment to the present Implementation Agreement that FORA has with each of the land use jurisdictions — Marina, Seaside, Del Rey Oaks, Monterey, Monterey County — and approval of the Preston Park Management Contract with alliance, as well as the FORA Mid-Year Budget and election of officers.
Delays at Del Monte Ave. and Pacific St.
Work begins Monday on reconstruction of the intersection and storm drain improvements at Del Monte Avenue and Pacific Street and motorists can expect detours and lane closures through March 28.

Recruiting seminar for dispatchers Monday
A recruiting seminar for emergency dispatchers will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the Monterey Area office of the California Highway Patrol, 960 E. Blanco Road.

Dunes planting, restoration Saturday
A planting and habitat restoration will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Marina Dunes Preserve, on Dunes Drive just off Reservation Road, near Marina State Beach.
