Romance in the Redwoods

Local singer/songwriter Jayme Kelly Curtis will sing a selection of torch songs this Valentine's Day at Don Quixote's. The restaurant will offer an additional Valentine's Day menu with options including New York steak and shrimp tempura for $19.95 and fresh salmon with salsa for $16.95.

An annual Santa Cruz tradition, Tuck & Patti return to the Kuumbwa Jazz Center with their light pop-flavored jazz. The show also features a special Valentine's Day menu.

One Billion Rising

Dedicated to preventing violence against women, this event is a fundraiser for the Survivors Healing Center, Walnut Avenue Women's Center, Women's Crisis Support Center-Defensa de Mujeres and Rising International. The gathering will begin with a candlelight walk from the Memorial Plaza and conclude with art, music and dancing at the Museum of Art & History.

Jake Shimabukuro

Jake Shimabukuro takes the ukulele to a whole new level with his virtuosic strumming and plucking. He'll perform at the Cocoanut Grove this Valentine's Day, creating the perfect date night for music aficionados.
