CHINO - Officers of the Chino Police Department's Traffic Unit will conduct a DUI/Drivers License checkpoint on Saturday.

The checkpoint is from 8 p.m. through early Sunday morning, in a location where a significant number of DUI-related collisions and DUI arrests have occurred.

During the operation, Officers will be contacting drivers passing through the checkpoint looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment. Impaired drivers can expect jail, license suspension, and insurance increases, as well as fines, fees, DUI classes, court probation, and other expenses which could exceed $10,000.

Officers will also be checking for proper licensing.
