Gun rights rallies coming Saturday

Rallies will be held in support of protecting the Second Amendment right to bear arms on Saturday at:

· 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Crossroads Village, Highway 1 and Rio Road, Carmel.
· 12:30 to 3 p.m. at Window on the Bay Park, 693 Del Monte Ave., Monterey.
· 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Prunedale Shopping Center, Highway 101 and San Miguel Canyon Road, Prunedale.

Veterans' health fair coming Saturday

A free veterans' health fair will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at American Legion Post 589, 242 Williams Road.

The event includes information about benefits, Medicare, home and medical care options, and other services.
