Gusty winds are expected to continue ripping across the Inland Empire until this afternoon.

"Pretty much through the San Bernardino County mountains and below the Cajon Pass, like you said, we're getting gusts in the 50 to 60 mph range," said Stephen Harrison, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in San Diego. "Pretty much the highest gusts we've seen so far is about 66 mph in a place called Fremont Canyon, but mostly it's in the 50s."

After the winds diminish, Harrison said, warming is expected to continue through the week, with no storms on the horizon. San Berardino's high temperature is projected to hit 65 today, followed by a low of 38. In Ontario, forecasters expect a high of 69 and a low of 44, according to AccuWeather.com
