Sheriff's deputies arrested three people Sunday on suspicion of stealing $300 in merchandise from a Highland CVS store.

Dontae Cook, 33, a parolee from Fontana, Sean Raikes, 32, a Highland resident who is on probation and Amber Phillips, 23, of Colton were booked into Central Detention Center in San Bernardino on suspicion of robbery, San Bernardino County sheriff's officials said.

Deputies received a report of a theft at the CVS Pharmacy at 27310 Baseline at 8:50 a.m. Officials say Cook and Raikes walked into the business with the intent to steal store products.

They grabbed merchandise and left the store without paying. When the store alarm sounded, a store employee confronted them. The robbers threatened the employee, got into a vehicle driven by Phillips and fled.

Deputies found the vehicle near the corner of Cunningham and Ward streets.

They found stolen CVS property, along with several tools that deputies suspect were stolen.
