Police came to the 2100 block of East 19th Street at 10:25 p.m. on a report of a shooting.

The woman, who is in her mid 20s, was taken to a hospital for treatment. The wound was not expected to be life threatening, police said.

She was shot by a man in a white vehicle. No one was in custody.
