Hands of Hope Luncheon Tuesday

Rising International's fifth annual Hands of Hope Luncheon will be held starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hyatt Regency Monterey, 1 Old Golf Course Road.

Central Coast-based Rising International, celebrating its 10th anniversary, is dedicated to helping reduce poverty, trafficking and other abuses of women globally and locally through the creation and sale of hand-crafted products. These items will be on sale as part of the luncheon.

The event's keynote speaker will be philanthropist Jacki Zehner, CEO of Women Moving Millions.

The YWCA is celebrating Women's History Month and the grand opening of its new Seaside office with an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
