Jana Morris, a Pacific Gas & Electric Co. spokeswoman, said the final customers had their power restored late Monday.
Teri Mizuhara, spokeswoman for the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, says the five-acre fire was reported about 4 p.m. Monday between Cameron Park and Shingle Springs, 30 miles east of Sacramento.
It was contained quickly, but power lines were down when firefighters arrived. Authorities suspect they may have snapped in the triple-digit temperatures.
Temperatures in the area were forecast to rise as high as 115 degrees Tuesday.
