A family member found Wanda Lee Paulin dead Dec. 12 in her home in the 5000 block of North Mountain View Avenue. The coroner performed an autopsy Dec. 21. The cause of Paulin's death was ruled a homicide.
San Bernardino police released photos of the two rings that did not turn up when they searched Paulin's home during the investigation.
One ring is gold with several diamonds and a topaz set in the middle. The other ring is gold with diamonds.
Lt. Jarrod Burguan said Monday that it is unclear if Paulin was killed during a burglary.
Police also don't know if the disappearance of the rings are connected to her death.
Burguan could not say how much the rings were worth, but said family members considered it strange that the rings are still unaccounted for.
"The family is wondering where these are," he said.
Anyone who has seen the rings or has any other information about them is asked to call the police.
If anybody has any information on this case they are asked to call Detective Pat Pritchett at 909-384-5662 or Sgt. Gary Robertson at 909-384-5659.
