Run for or held elected office before and if so when and what office?: Never run for office before.

Appointed offices held as well as community organizations: Board member for Educate. Advocate.

In 100 words or less, please explain why you are running for this office: There's no money to continue the routine and adversarial manipulation of students, parents, teachers, and staff. Earning trust instead can cut costs without hurting anyone, because well-earned distrust is costly. I will insist on truth: no more coverups; no more lying about the law to special ed parents; real consequences, as in well-run businesses, if the superintendent or staff mislead the board or the public. Tolerating such deception caused the Preserve School debacle and the foolish closure of the three schools, among other expensive disasters. The present board still aims to look good by asking no hard questions.

In 100 words or less, please explain why you are running for this office: CVUSD consists of Chino Hills, Chino, and a portion of Ontario - the best of San Bernardino County - yet we are in the worst 12.2 percent financially. I would like to end mismanagement at the district administrative level. Cuts should've take place first at the district office/administration, far away from the school sites and the children. Unfortunately the school board refused to cut one assistant superintendent, one director, and one coordinator, yet they increased class sizes and cut librarians, computer teachers, chorale music at the elementary schools, and a number of counselors, all of whom work directly with the students. Let's start a new priority of "putting kids first."
