San Jose State has confirmed receiving 15 letters of intent Wednesday. That's in addition to five players who signed midyear and are already enrolled.

  • Nico Aimonetti, DT, San Jose, 6-5, 255; Father, John, was a UPI second-team All-West Coast OT for SJSU in 1986

  • Adrian Blake, DL, Miami, 6-3, 255; Native of Jamaica is JC transfer from San Jose City College

  • Chris Gonzalez, DL, Los Angeles, 6-3, 260; Winner of his high school team's Academic Scholar Award

  • Ryan Ena, TE, Oceanside, 6-5, 230; Transfer from Palomar College enters as soph., former Idaho signee

  • *Garrett Guanella, DE/LB, Santa Rosa, 6-5, 235; First-team Region I all-state selection for Santa Rosa JC

  • *Alvin Jelks, RB, Salinas, 6-1, 190; Ran for 2,552 yards and 28 TDs in two years at Hartnell College

  • *Jeremiah Kolone, OL, Fallbrook, 6-3, 290; Originally signed last year but delayed enrollment until this spring

  • *Jared Leaf, LB, Martinez, 6-2, 235; Transfer from Hawaii is sophomore, must sit out this season

  • Travis Miller, DT, Simi Valley, 6-4, 295; Big and athletic three-sport star who also played basketball and track

  • Deano Motes, OL, Gilbert, Ariz., 6-5, 250; Qualified for Arizona state wrestling meet, big fan of movie "Anchorman"

  • Brandon Monroe, ATH. Loomis, 6-1, 195; First-team all-state multi-purpose selection expected to play safety

  • Michael Okoroike, DL, Antelope, 6-3, 235; Also had reported offers from Nevada, Fresno State and Air Force

  • A.J. Samataua, OL, Fair Oaks, 6-3, 320; Massive guard prospect was league's offensive lineman of the year

  • *Jourdan Soares, WR, Gilroy, 6-1, 155; Speedster competed in five different event in high school state track meet

  • Keenan Sykes, DL, Fontana, 6-3, 250; Lean two-way lineman who also played tight end and basketball

  • Michael Tate, WR, Federal Way, Wash., 6-1, 170; Originally an Oakland native who caught eight TDs as senior

  • Keoni Taylor, OL, Bakersfield, 6-3, 280; Interior lineman was a medium schools all-state selection

  • Thomas Tucker, ATH, Long Beach, 5-10, 175; Likely to play corner, but also a WR; father Kenneth played at UNLV

  • Nate Velichko, DL/OL, Foster City, 6-7, 275; Comes from same school as outgoing senior star DE Travis Johnson

  • Tyler Winston, WR, Antelope, 6-2, 185; Three-star recruit at safety is slated to play offense for Spartans
