Pretty soon, someone is going to have to make a law that bans Justin Bieber from being out in public in the name of public safety.

According to TMZ, Bieber's entourage is being investigated by authorities concerning a brutal fight that left a nightclub patron badly injured and sprawled out in a parking lot, before he was taken to a hospital.

Bieber and his posse -- do the kids still use that word? -- were at a South Pointe nightclub in Southampton, N.Y., around 3 a.m. Sunday. Bieber had arrived an hour earlier and parked himself in the VIP area, where the liquor was apparently flowing freely.

A girl made the mistake of trying to speak with Mr. Special, but was denied. She came back with the guy who allegedly later ended up eating parking lot, who apparently didn't like the way said female was treated. At that point Bieber, after presumably looking around to make sure he had enough guys to save his scrawny backside should things get ugly, went nuts, pulling off his shirt and screaming at the guy.

He pulled off his shirt? Why, to make the guy hesitate because he didn't want to fight an 11-year-old?

Apparently Bieber and company left the club and things got heated in the parking lot. Bieber -- who sounds like he was channeling his inner monkey at that point -- jumped through the sunroof of his SUV onto its hood. TMZ said it was unclear what happened next, but the unidentified man ended up unconscious on the pavement.

Nice. Isn't this the same Justin Bieber who likes to say on social media how he wants to do the Lord's work? Maybe he means another lord (Voldemort? Varys? Vader?).

Hey -- is it just me, or do you have to have a last name that begins with "V" to be called "Lord?" Too bad Dick Van Dyke never thought of that.

TMZ reported that police say both sides were acting aggressive. The alleged victim filed a police report.
