Justin Bieber had two cookie jars stuffed with marijuana when cops raided his Los Angeles mansion last week, according to the New York Daily News.
That's right -- a 19-year-old kid with more money than any of us can possibly imagine having has pot. You know, the grass, the weed, the bud, the Maui wowie, the chronic, the reefer, the wacky tobacky, the ...
Anyway, a source reportedly told TMZ that when Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies served a search warrant related to Bieber's alleged egg-throwing dispute with his neighbor the previous week, two large cookie jars loaded with marijuana sat in plain view of the dozen detectives.
They also reportedly discovered four or five empty codeine bottles, along with empty Fanta bottles, according to TMZ.
That's incredible -- I almost can't believe that. I mean ... someone still drinks Fanta?
The Fanta bottles appeared to be discolored by the codeine, which is reportedly a sign they were used to mix the narcotic drink known as sizzurp, also called "lean."
Apparently, Bieber wasn't busted because deputies were looking for surveillance equipment and other evidence that could link Bieber to the egging of his neighbor's house.
That's right -- in L.A., drugs aren't such a big deal. But toss an egg at some rich guy's house and all hell breaks loose.
"It's pretty widely known the kid smokes weed," Lt. David Thompson, the lead detective on the case, told the Daily News Thursday.
"We're not doing some big sting on Justin Bieber," Thompson said. "We didn't go opening containers and pulling out drawers. This was about the egging."
It was no big sting. I mean, 11 cops cars showed up, but since all crime in L.A. has been eliminated, it was no big sting.
According to TMZ, authorities also found one bong in the TV room, two bongs in the kitchen, a dedicated smoking room outfitted with hookah pipes and special cigars used for making blunts.
I have a feeling Justin Bieber smokes stuff.
According to the Daily News, Thompson said Bieber's 20-year-old sidekick Lil Za was arrested at the scene because drugs were found in his bedroom, and the aspiring rapper allegedly admitted they were his.
"It was right in our face," Lt. Thompson said.
Officials have said the drugs allegedly belonging to Lil Za, initially thought to be cocaine, turned out to be "Molly," a powdered form of Ecstasy, and the anti-anxiety drug Xanax, for which Mr. Za did not have a prescription. The rapper was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony drug possession Tuesday, then got slapped with a charge of felony vandalism for allegedly damaging a wall phone in his holding cell.
Bieber is being investigated for allegedly throwing more than 20 eggs at his neighbor's house two weeks ago. Because there was more than $400 in damage, the singer could be facing felony charges. Bieber's neighbor supposedly videotaped part of the egging attack. Police seized security footage from Bieber's house and are examining it.
